Dear Friends of Mohegan Lake Veterinary Hospital -
We are happy to share that we will be opening back up for in person appointments starting Wednesday, February 16. We will still have the option of curbside service for those who would prefer not to come inside.
When you arrive for your appointment, please pull to the back parking lot and give the front desk a call to let us know you are here. As in the past, we will take medical history over the phone and then when a room is ready and sanitized, we will direct you to the front of the building where a staff member will escort you in. The front doors will remain locked.
COVID-19 has presented us with a lot of challenges over the past two years and we are thankful for our many wonderful clients for being patient while we navigate these times. With the practices we have put in place, we have been able to avoid any hospital closures throughout the pandemic. We are doing the best we can, and we know it has been difficult not to be able to come in with your pet. It has not been easy on our staff either; as we have been outside in the heat, rain, snow and freezing temperatures, and have had wet feet, frozen fingers, and sore arms. The kindness that clients have shown to us has not gone unnoticed. Once again, thank you to everyone who has supported us during these crazy times. We are looking forward to in person appointments this week!
Working during a pandemic is a learning curve, and we appreciate your understanding as we try to find the safest and most effective way to continue to offer the level of care and service we provide.
